Privacy Policy

Information Surf80 processes

Depending on the features you choose to use, Surf80 may process information including:

• Health and fitness data you authorize Surf80 to read through Apple Health and HealthKit
• Date of birth or age
• Biological sex
• Lifestyle and health questionnaire responses
• Laboratory measurements and related collection dates
• Calculated health and biological-age results
• The filename of a laboratory report imported from Files

Apple Health and HealthKit

Surf80 accesses Apple Health data only after you grant permission through Apple’s HealthKit authorization system. You can choose which supported health data types Surf80 is allowed to access.

Surf80 uses HealthKit data solely to provide health, fitness, biological-age, and healthspan-related features directly to you.

Surf80 does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining, and does not sell HealthKit data.

Laboratory reports

If you choose to import a laboratory PDF or image, Surf80 temporarily accesses the selected document and processes it on your device using Apple system technologies such as PDFKit and Vision.

Surf80 does not upload or retain the original PDF or image. The original document remains in the location from which you selected it, such as Files or Photos.

Surf80 may locally store confirmed laboratory measurements, dates, associated context, report-row provenance, and the original filename when applicable.

Where your data is stored

Surf80 processes and stores app data locally on your device. Surf80 does not currently operate a cloud backend that receives or stores your health information.

Data stored locally by Surf80 may be included in backups created by Apple’s operating system or backup services, depending on your device and Apple settings. Those backups are controlled by Apple and by your device configuration, not by Surf80.

Third parties

Surf80 does not currently use third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, authentication, artificial-intelligence, or cloud-storage services to process your health data.

The app may contain links to external scientific or informational websites. Information is sent to an external destination only when you explicitly choose to open a link or share content using Apple’s system sharing features.

Personal identifiers

Surf80 does not require or collect your name, email address, phone number, Apple ID, account identifier, advertising identifier, or device identifier.

Sharing and selling data

Surf80 does not sell your personal or health data.

Surf80 does not automatically share your health information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

Your choices and control

You can change Surf80’s access to Apple Health data at any time through Apple Health or iOS privacy settings.

Because Surf80’s application data is stored locally, removing the app from your device generally removes Surf80’s locally stored application data, subject to any device backups controlled by Apple.

You can also choose whether to import laboratory reports, enter questionnaire information, open external links, or share Surf80 results.

Children’s privacy

Surf80 is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or developer-operated servers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Surf80 evolves. If the app begins using additional services or changes how personal information is processed, this policy will be updated accordingly.
